Public Art and Corporate Commissions
|
The Anne Camozzi Art & Design Studio is interested in working with organizations and corporations to produce public art. Anne's interest in public art developed after a visit to Victoria, British Columbia in 2005 where she saw a number of community art projects. Soon after she was invited to contribute art to the QEII Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia where she now has four original, framed silk paintings on display in public areas. In 2009, Easter Seals Nova Scotia commissioned her to participate in Dolphins on Parade, a public art project in Halifax, Nova Scotia. EnCana Corp. and Bell Aliant selected Anne to paint their sponsored fibreglass dolphins, which were displayed on the Halifax waterfront in 2009 and 2010. In 2010, Anne was commissioned to produce six original silk paintings that have been photo captured and are being printed on nylon banners for the new People's Place Library in Antigonish, Nova Scotia (installation February 2011).
The Library Project has allowed us to begin to explore the range of materials that Anne's art can be printed on for maximum exposure and easy to maintain materials. As well as the nylon banners we have produced for the People's Place Project in Antigonish, we have also begun printing on canvas. We are open to any possibilities to help beautify public spaces and enjoy collaborating with others (artists, architects, designers, and managers of public spaces.)
Positive response to her art, the impact it has on others, and her belief that art improves lives, spurs her interest in public art projects. Viewers of all ages and backgrounds respond positively to her art and are engaged by her themes and images.
Anne's previous work as an internationally recognized environmental consultant and former university vice-president have allowed her to develop extensive experience in project management and the timely production of deliverables which enhances her work as a professional artist. Please contact us to help you beautify public and corporate spaces.

Give a Gift of
Hope or Celebration
Commission a Painting |
Anne paints healing images for people recovering from or living with illness and pain, or for offices of those engaged in healing practices. These give serenity and release from pain while brightening hospital rooms, waiting rooms, offices, and homes of those undergoing treatments or in palliative care. Anne also paints commissions for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and corporate gifts. We also have options with printing images on other fabrics and canvases.
Before painting Anne asks questions about colour, theme, size, and the situation of the person to whom the painting will be gifted. She often paints with a picture of this person in front of her. The commission is mailed with a card describing the images and intent. Please review our Purchase Information section below for further information.

Care of your
painting on silk |
Exposure to direct light over a period of time will damage the silk fibers (though the paint is lightfast), so please don’t expose your painting to direct light or the silk will deteriorate. Anne’s paintings are best displayed professionally framed. Anne uses an off-white matte when framing. For other framing or hanging questions, please
